Accessibility assistance

All courthouses have an accessibility coordinator to assist people to navigate the courthouse.

Accessibility coordinators can identify accessible facilities, equipment and services. They are also able to assist with accessibility accommodation requests concerning court proceedings if certain supports are required during a hearing, such as an assistive listening device or a visual interpreter.

Registry staff are available by phone and video through the Government of BC’s virtual counter. Virtual counter staff can answer general questions and provide access to court forms, as well as other resources.
