Chief Judge Melissa Gillespie has announced the appointment of a new judicial justice.

It is my great pleasure and privilege to announce that the Lieutenant Governor in Council has signed an Order in Council appointing a new judicial justice to the Provincial Court. The new judicial justice appointment is Tamera Golinsky.

Judicial Justice Golinsky

Judicial Justice Golinsky will be sworn in on July 13, 2026 and assigned to the Justice Centre and traffic.

Judicial Justice Golinsky was appointed as a Provincial Court Judge in 2020, after serving as Crown counsel for many years in Dawson Creek. In her time as a Provincial Court Judge, she worked tirelessly to provide the people in the northeastern part of the province with timely and accessible justice. Her commitment to accessible justice will continue to serve the public well as Judicial Justice Golinsky joins the Court’s Judicial Justice division.
